Future Teachers of America:
Future Teachers’ of America is a club for anyone who is interested in becoming a teaching instructor after they graduate.
This month’s meeting answered some questions, such as: ‘How do I become a teacher?’, how to become a certified teacher, and how to find your first teaching job. To view the recording of this month’s club meeting, go to January 6th in the class connect tab.

Anime Club:
Anime club is a club that discusses different types of anime movies, TV shows, and sometimes the manga source material.

Creative Writing Club:
Creative Writing Club allows students to share writing samples which, in turn, inspire each other.

iGlobe Newspaper:
The iGlobe newspaper is, you guessed it, a newspaper written by k-12 students for k-12 students. Articles include, but are not limited to, iGlobe Spotlight, Creativity 101, and Global Snapshot.

Yoga Club:
Yoga club comes together every month to discuss successes and challenges since the last meeting and focus on new yoga poses.

Mu Alpha Theta:
Mu Alpha Theta is a club about math and sometimes delving into physics and economics.

Explorer’s Club:
Explorer’s club travels across the globe (not to be confused with virtual field trips) and talks about how different things are done in different places. They also do crossword puzzles, and if that doesn’t win you over, I don’t know what will.

Food Club
Food club is a club that discusses, you guessed it, food. Each meeting is about a different food and focuses on its history, the different variety's, and how it’s made as well as it’s ingredients.
This month’s meeting was about sensory details. The club talked about how you use each of your senses while eating different types of food. Model UN
Model UN is a club that discusses conflicts and solutions to modern day problems happening around the world today. Each country is composed of two people and they work as a team.
This month’s meeting was about combating deforestation. Each country gave a speech on what their country would do to help the situation. Student Council
Student Council is a club that focuses on the well-being of the school.
This month’s meeting was to encourage students to sign up to be Student Council officers and representatives. Anyone who is a full-time International Academy student can apply, even if they’ve missed every meeting so far. Arabic Club
The Arabic Cultural Club focuses on the Arabic language and cultures of Arabic-speaking countries.
This month’s club meeting discussed Arab food. It also touched on how to say certain foods in the Arabic language. French Club discusses French culture, history, and the language.

German Clubs
German Club discusses German culture, history, and the language.

Spanish Club
Spanish club talks about different topics (i.e. food, sports) in different Spanish areas and regions (i.e. Spain, Mexico).
