Me: What was the funniest moment of your life? Mrs. Butler: I consider myself a “funny” person, and yet I can’t think of a “funny” memory.
Me: What is your favorite food? Mrs. Butler: I love food, there’s very little I don’t like in terms of food. This might be why I co-host the food club with Ms. Matuza. I love German food. Probably my favorite food is Fish Tacos – a combo of my two favorites – Seafood and Mexican!
Me: What is your favorite movie? Mrs. Butler: I tend to like WWII history movies. I also like action movies (X-Men, Wolverine, The Avengers, etc…). But my favorite movie is a tie between Pride and Prejudice and It’s a Wonderful Life.

Me: What do you enjoy doing during your free time? Mrs. Butler: I have two little boys who are VERY active and my husband and I love to spend time with them. We are avid outdoorspeople so weather it’s swimming, biking, playing at the park or hiking we like to do things together as a family. When it’s a “day for me”, I love to go get pampered and have a pedicure while I read a good book.
Me: Does Blackboard Collaborate annoy you when it doesn't work? Mrs. Butler: Haha – Of course!! It’s very frustrating when technology doesn’t do what we think it is supposed to. However, I also remember life before the internet, before cell phones, before computers. I remember learning to type on a type writer with no delete button. So, when I get frustrated, I remind myself how amazing it is that I get to work from home and you get to go to school online! I remind myself that it used to take several minutes to log on to dial up internet and we were never impatient then. So, yes – it’s annoying, but when it works it’s pretty amazing!!
Me: What is your favorite joke/riddle? Mrs. Butler: In high school my friend told me a Lion King joke that is super corny, but I like it.
Question: Why did Simba’s dad die? Answer: Because he didn’t Mufasa.
Get it…he didn’t “move faster”?! :)
