Childhood on a Shelf

Faith, Trust, and Pixie dust
I'm told Peter Pan and I must learn to adjust
His friend Tinkerbell has got a short fuse,
but I don't think Wendy deserved that abuse
Down the rabbit hole Alice and I went
But she (like me) had to learn what it meant
Rain drops and roses and whiskers on kittens
Maria and I could have shared mittens
Just keep swimming requires some forgiving
If forgiveness is key, I say skip the remembering
Is under the sea the best place to be?
Ariel thought no. I have to agree.
Elsa prefers to be away from the rest, but I think Anna knew best.
A little naive? They both were is my guess.
In the end, fairytales are meant to teach lessons
They shape us to be who we are
And how to keep calm in our messes
Each character has a story to tell
And I think you should pay attention, and listen well
Love and let love, because we're all a little Frozen
And write your own story
You only live once; you don't have to stay broken
