Meet Shannon Denham, one of The iGlobe's talented writers and artists!
Her bio:
Shannon Denham is a senior at K12 International Academy and this is her second year writing for the iGlobe. Living in the state of New Mexico, she has been writing and drawing for fun since she was 12. Her major interests include art and movies. Shannon wants more than anything to work on movies when she’s older, and would love to be a screenwriter, director, storyboard artist, concept artist, animator...the list goes on and on! She hopes to share her love of movies and the arts in her articles for the iGlobe.
Find her art gallery and her own commentary below!

(from left to right)
Figure Skating: I used only 4 colors to create all the colors in this piece, which was inspired by the Winter Olympics. I used Paint Tool SAI to create this piece.
Folds in the Towel: This was a sketch to practice capturing lighting, shadows, and folds in a piece of fabric.
Impressionistic Autumn: This piece only took my 15 minutes to complete and has been one of my favorite pieces of all time. I used Inkscape to create this piece.
Impressionistic Sewing Machine: This was an art assignment in which I had to create 2 paintings of the same thing, one impressionistic and one realistic. I used acrylic paints.
iPod: This was a simple warm-up sketch that I decided to sketch the iPod in my hand.
Realistic Sewing Machine: This was an art assignment in which I had to create 2 paintings of the same thing, one impressionistic and one realistic. I used acrylic paints.
Karen's Fitness Logo: This was an art assignment in which I had to create a logo. I created this logo for my mom's fitness business, and used a fake title because she hasn't chosen a title just yet. I used Inkscape to create this piece.
Stylin Doggie: This was an art assignment in which I had to create a logo. I created this logo based off of an image of my dog, Sadie, wearing a sweatband. I used Inkscape to create this piece.
